The Lodge at Chichen Itza is the area's finest property, and it's newest. Adjacent to Mayaland Hotel & Bungalows, our guests may enjoy all of the hotel's amenities. The Lodge at Chichen Itza does not accept tour buses or large groups of any kind (the only hotel in the area with this policy). You're guaranteed total peace and tranquility, away from day visitors. The Lodge at Chichen Itza sits on 100 acres of beautifully landscaped gardens in the heart of the archaeological park, with its own entrance to the Mayan temples. Clustered around secluded swimming pools, the 39 bungalows seem an extension of the gardens in which they are located. Built in traditional Mayan style with wood, stone, native marble and thatch, they were created for guests who wish to commune with nature and with the culture that rose to greatness here 1,000 years before. Oriented for maximum privacy and spectacular views, bungalows are equipped with all the amenities of the main house. In addition, each comes richly decorated with work of local artisans: ceramics, stained glass, weavings, and the region's precious hardwoods crafted in a variety of ways. The larger bungalows have separate bedrooms and pools; they all have verandas and personal gardens.
