The manager, Manuel Ceballos, and his wife, Sofia Otero, greeted them. After a brief rest, the monarchs had tea and an egg snack on the terrace. Notable individuals mentioned included Frederick Catherwood, Alfred Maudslay, Percival, Adela Catherine Breton, Ian Graham, and Sir Eric Thompson.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Queen Elizabeth II expressed gratitude for the hospitality and praised the impressive archaeological remains, calling them unparalleled among ancient cities.
