You can’t stay any closer to the Mayan wonders in the Chichén Itzá Archaeological Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, than your rooms in The Lodge at Chichén Itzá. We are happy to arrange private guided tours of the pyramids and temples.

The bungalows at the Lodge at Chichén Itzá are hand-built from local materials in designs inspired by traditional Mayan “Casitas”. Highlights of our Chichén Itzá resort include hand-carved mahogany furniture, doors, and room accents, artisan stained-glass windows, and extensive use of local marble and handmade terracotta tiles. All bungalows are nestled around our three swimming pools, and provide both privacy and relaxing views of our manicured gardens and grounds. Each bungalow features furnished, over-large terraces and hammocks, a local art form. You have only to enjoy the tropical breeze and the tranquility of this rich environment.

Three restaurants are available to cater to any appetite, with Mayan cuisine a specialty. Our Lobby Bar offers a welcome respite after a day’s adventures by serving a broad array of libations including tropical cocktails and an extensive selection of tequilas. Sit back and relax while marveling at the fabulous views of the nearby Caracol, the Mayan observatory.

Guests of The Lodge at Chichén Itzá are welcome to use all the extensive facilities of the adjacent Mayaland® Hotel and Bungalows. Established in 1923, The Mayaland® is the first hotel built within the grounds of an archaeological site in the New World. Still run today by the direct descendants of the founder. We warmly invite you to experience the comforts and gracious hospitality we have been refining for nearly a century.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation Policies: Fully refundable when cancelled up to 24 hours prior to departure. Refunds will not be issued for unused or partially used services.

Redemption Instructions: You must print and present the voucher in order to redeem services.

Please make sure to include your voucher with your travel documents. If you arrive without a voucher you may be unnecessarily delayed.

OVERNIGHT TOURS / CIRCUITS / HOTEL

If you cancel at least 7 days in advance of the scheduled arrival there is no cancellation fee. If you cancel between 3 and 6 days in advance of the scheduled arrival, there is a 50 percent cancellation fee. If you cancel within 2 days of the scheduled arrival, there is a 100 percent cancellation fee. No shows are non refundable.

Holy week / Easter, Christmas / New Year Season (December 22nd - January 3rd), and during Equinox (March 19th - March 24th & September 20th - September 22nd) reservations: Cancellation made 91 days or more prior to the check-in date will have a $50.00 USD per room charge; 61-90 days prior to the check-in date will have a 50% charge; 31-60 days prior to the check-in date will have a 1 night per room charge; 30 days or less prior to the check-in date are non-refundable.

Cancellation: Note that if cancelled, modified, or in case of no-show, the total Price of the reservation will be charged.

Prepayment: You'll be charged a prepayment of the total Price at any time.

All cancellations must be made in writing and be e-mailed to our office in order for any applicable refunds to be issued. Please note: For all cancellations the Confirmation Number must be provided.

No refunds will be given for unused portions.

TRANSPORTATION

Complete payment must be received before reservation can be confirmed.
